I started studying for my license July 8 2003.
On July 13 2003 I took my test in Caro and passed.
Since then I have been involved in Skywarn Nets,
being net control on numerous nets, just normal
rag chewing, and even running my own Echolink node.
My favorite modes are Slow scan, Rtty, and Echolink,
I have done some 2 meter DXing on FM before. I have
talked to New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Indiana,
and parts of Wisconsin and Northern Canada, mostly
on simplex. I did talk on the K2XZ 145.39 Repeater
in Delevan. If you’re ever in the Deckerville
or Sandusky area, jump on 147.55 simplex and use
the Echolink node I have on the air 24/7. 73 to
